    Wellion HEEL STICK SAFETYLANCETS are sterile, single-use lancets that are used for the heel site puncture of premature babies (1-2,5kg) and newborns (2,5-9kg) to obtain capillary blood samples. Use of Wellion HEEL STICK SAFETYLANCETS minimize procedure time of blood sampling, relieve pain and minimize rate of complication.

     

    INSTRUCTION FOR USE

     

    1. Select the test site. Clean the site with an antiseptic swab and allow to air dry.

    2. Open the blister package and take out the lancet.

    3. Place the heel stick against the baby’s heel and activate by pressing downward on the white latch. Then use the blood sample.

    4. Discard it into a biohazard sharps container.
